  1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Use and End User License Agreement (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of WilderGo, including our website, mobile app, waitlist, community features, safety-focused tools, subscriptions, and related services.

By accessing or using WilderGo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use WilderGo.

  1. About WilderGo

WilderGo is being built as a community-powered outdoor safety app. WilderGo helps people exploring outside connect with trusted community, use safety-focused tools, and access support through features such as Connected SOS, Guardian support, route awareness, check-ins, community features, and related tools.

WilderGo is not a replacement for emergency services. In an emergency, you should contact local emergency services whenever possible.

  1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use WilderGo. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use WilderGo only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

You agree to provide accurate information and to use WilderGo in a lawful, respectful, and responsible way.

  1. License to Use the App

WilderGo grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, access, and use the WilderGo app and services for your personal use, subject to these Terms and any applicable App Store or Google Play rules.

WilderGo is licensed, not sold. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, sell, rent, lease, or create derivative works from WilderGo except where allowed by law.

  1. Apple App Store and Google Play Terms

If you download WilderGo through the Apple App Store or Google Play, your use of WilderGo may also be subject to the applicable store terms, rules, and policies.

For Apple users, Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for WilderGo. Apple and its subsidiaries may be third-party beneficiaries of these Terms where required by Apple’s terms and policies.

For Google Play users, purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and cancellations may be handled through Google Play according to Google’s applicable policies.

  1. Account Registration

Some WilderGo features may require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity that occurs under your account.

You agree not to impersonate another person, create misleading account information, or use WilderGo in a way that harms other users or the community.

  1. Community Features and User Content

WilderGo may allow users to create profiles, join communities, participate in events, connect with other members, post content, share photos, send messages, or provide safety-related updates.

You retain ownership of content you submit, but you grant WilderGo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, store, reproduce, and use that content as needed to operate, improve, and provide WilderGo.

You are responsible for the content you share. You may not post content that is illegal, abusive, misleading, threatening, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative, invasive of privacy, or otherwise harmful.

WilderGo may remove content, restrict accounts, or take other action if content or behavior violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law.

  1. Safety Features and Emergency Limitations

WilderGo may include safety-focused features such as Connected SOS, Guardian support, check-ins, location-based tools, route awareness, alerts, and community-powered assistance.

These tools are designed to support communication and connection, but they do not guarantee rescue, emergency response, message delivery, location accuracy, Guardian availability, user response, or successful assistance.

WilderGo does not replace 911, emergency services, search and rescue, law enforcement, medical care, or official emergency response. In an emergency, contact local emergency services whenever possible.

You are responsible for your own decisions, surroundings, route choices, travel plans, equipment, weather awareness, physical condition, and personal safety.

  1. Location, Maps, and Outdoor Conditions

WilderGo may use maps, location information, route awareness, readiness tools, or outdoor condition information to support certain features.

Location, route, weather, road, trail, and condition information may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, unavailable, or affected by connectivity, device settings, third-party services, terrain, weather, or other factors.

You should not rely only on WilderGo for navigation, emergency planning, outdoor safety, weather decisions, road conditions, or trip readiness. Always use your own judgment and consult official sources when needed.

  1. Subscriptions and Paid Features

WilderGo may offer free features and paid features, including WilderGo Plus or other subscription plans.

WilderGo Plus may provide advanced preparation, readiness, route insight, condition awareness, alerts, monitoring, or other premium tools. Help and community-powered assistance should not be treated as a premium-only feature unless clearly stated otherwise in the app or plan details.

Subscription pricing, features, availability, free trials, renewal terms, and billing frequency will be shown before purchase.

If you purchase a subscription through Apple or Google, payment will be charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account. Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled according to the applicable store’s rules.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not automatically cancel a subscription.

Refunds are handled by Apple, Google, or the applicable payment provider according to their policies.

  1. Waitlist, Launch Updates, and Communications

If you join the WilderGo waitlist or sign up for launch updates, you agree that WilderGo may contact you with launch news, product updates, and related announcements.

Joining the waitlist does not guarantee early access, app access, account approval, or availability of any specific feature.

You may unsubscribe from marketing or launch emails where an unsubscribe option is provided.

  1. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use WilderGo for illegal, harmful, abusive, or deceptive purposes.
Harass, threaten, impersonate, stalk, exploit, or harm others.
Submit false emergency requests or misuse safety features.
Interfere with WilderGo’s systems, security, or operation.
Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems without permission.
Upload malware, spam, or harmful code.
Scrape, copy, or misuse WilderGo data.
Use WilderGo in a way that violates applicable laws or third-party rights.

  1. Community Trust and Verification

WilderGo may include verification features, profile signals, Guardian features, community tools, or safety-related indicators. These features are designed to support trust, but they do not guarantee that any person is safe, trustworthy, available, qualified, or able to help.

You should use caution when interacting with others, meeting people, sharing information, or requesting assistance.

  1. Intellectual Property

WilderGo, including its app, website, logo, trademarks, product design, text, graphics, software, features, and related content, is owned by WilderGo and/or its licensors.

You may not use WilderGo’s name, logo, branding, screenshots, designs, or other intellectual property without permission, except as allowed by law.

  1. Third-Party Services

WilderGo may rely on third-party services for maps, hosting, analytics, crash reporting, payments, subscriptions, notifications, email, location services, or other app functionality.

WilderGo is not responsible for third-party services, outages, errors, terms, privacy practices, or data handling outside our control.

  1. Disclaimers

WilderGo is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that WilderGo will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, available in all locations, or suitable for every situation.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, WilderGo disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, WilderGo and its owners, employees, contractors, partners, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of use, lost profits, personal injury, property damage, or harm resulting from use of or inability to use WilderGo.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot be limited by law.

  1. Account Suspension or Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to WilderGo if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for other users, misused safety features, violated community guidelines, or used WilderGo unlawfully.

You may stop using WilderGo at any time.

  1. Changes to WilderGo

WilderGo is evolving. We may add, remove, change, or discontinue features, pricing, plans, availability, community tools, safety tools, or services at any time.

Pre-launch materials, screenshots, previews, and descriptions may change before release.

  1. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as WilderGo evolves. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date and may provide additional notice when appropriate.

Your continued use of WilderGo after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, unless another jurisdiction’s law applies and cannot be waived.
